Default 2009 Scrap Plans

So are you doing anything special to get ready for scrapping in 2009?

I usually scrap the previous months pictures and do one for each child and one for family.Often other layouts pop up too as long as I meet my goals. In 2009 I want to scrap in the moment so I am doing both my DEC 2008 and NOV 2008 this month. In 2009 I will be able to utilize the methods I learned in SIH and Listmania plus take more advantage of challenges by scrapping pics I just took. Plus I think I can get deeper into the everyday moments which is a huge part of my scrapbooking.

I will pop in with a couple more idea after a few more responses. Right now the kiddos are boucing around. Can I play Charlie Brown Christmas one more time before we send it back to Netflix? ;D

I really want to do at least one, fully completed, monthly album next year. Take photos every day and really scrap the story. I've started it a million times and got some good pages, but I never make it to the end!!

I always have great lofty plans, but I never get to them. I think the farthest I've gotten in scrapping chronologically at all is a summer album I completed.

I really should think about some goals for 2009 though, I always seem so far behind on my photos, it would be easier to keep up with them as I go

I understand where u are coming from. I had my first kiddos in 2005 started scrapping i 2006 and could never catch up. Plus my picture habits were all messed. I had m first camera and named my files all stupid like A1 or something like that. So in 2008 I decided to try and salvage 2007 by scrapping a page for everyone in addition to my 2008 pages but it was too much. So I am glad I got 2008 done. I decided I am just gonna get over the rest and do an old page every once in awhile. I am just gonna focus on today so I dont have to worry about it.

I never really thought about plans! LOL! I am not the most organized.....I would really like to be chronological next year...but I don't know. I am a kit scrapper and sometimes I just can't pass a kit up, even if I have to use last years pics.

I have only been scrapping for about a year (A little less) and I have a 4 year old so I am way behind! And we had a computer crash and I lost so many pictures of Ezra's first year (he's my second) so I have had a hard time. Next year is fresh start though!! That's exciting!

Another goal I have is to make a daily to do listt and at the end of the day see what I got done and write what I did instead. I got a pocket moleskine journal for it. I started on Dec 1st. Have u girls seen Moleskine journals? I fell in love with them awhile back.

Well a great goal would be at least to catch up !
I started digiscrapping over a year ago, and I have plenty of older pics I would love to scrap (expecially of my oldest son when he was a baby) but I never find time to look back, I take so many pictures that I'm too busy scrapping the new ones !!!
