Default How creative can you get on staycation?

Here is a video of a woman who couldn't go to Japan so she is acting as if she's found Japan in NYC. Normally we don't allow outside linking but this is just a video.

View it here

How creative are you getting? We need really creative stories here!

I dont know if I am very creative but I want to share what we have done since we are doing a low cost from the house stay cation. On Monday we deep cleaned to get ready. Tuesday we went to a free movie that a nearby theater is going to host the rest of the summer. Then we made personal pizzas and had chocalate banana splits for dessert. Today we lounged around the house. The kids made suntea and we spent the day checking on it and playing on the porch everytime we checked. We watched Winnie the Pooh and had chocolate banana shakes. Tomarrow we are gonna go to one dollar happy meal night at McDonalds and we are meeting out cousins at the splash pad.

I totally lucked out having set next weekend as our staycation-
I found free tickets at the vidoe rental place last night for a 3-ring circus under a big top next Sat. and our Parks and Rec is also hosting a huge Storybook Land Festival, so we'll get to check out some storytellers, jugglers, The Berenstain Bears and in inflatable jumping castle for free, too I just hope it's not going to be too hot.

well...this is not a vacation...more of an idea to save money since we are talking about being green. there are so many hair salons...the expensive ones...that train their employees and in order to do so they have to practice right? well my mom and i go to be their models. totally FREE haircut and/or color/highlights...and for those of you who are nervous...don't worry cause the managers/owners usually are there for every step. i have been doing this for a while now and it is so nice. better than paying the high price for that professional hair stylist! i am going next tuesday!
