This is the most powerful story of my life, I was waiting for the right kit to come along to tell it.
'It is an absolute miracle of God that you were here holding your first grandbaby. Only two years before the blood vessel had burst in your brain, and it was only by God's grace that you were in a hospital visiting a friend when it happened. I still remember the heartbreak and pain I felt when I saw you in the hospital bed for the first time, unconscious and covered in tubes and wires. It was the only time I had ever seen my father cry. The doctors gave you a mere 5% chance of survival for the brain surgery that was necessary to repair the damage and prevent a reoccurence. I remember lamenting that you didn't have a chance to meet a grandchild, something I knew you desperately wanted. One successful brain surgery and several months of rehabilitation later, you were recovered. Not as tenacious as you once were, but still the same person we all knew and loved. Almost two years later you did get the chance to meet your first grandchild and hold him in your arms. You taught me to never stop fighting, to never give up hope. This picture is a celebration of two lives. God is good.'
