A few months after turning 40, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thank heavens for the fact that I am diligent about going for my yearly exams because my gynecologist found the lump and it had not spread.

Losing my hair was an interesting experience, but I DID find out that I have a nicely shaped head, so it's all good! :-)

Thanks for sharing your story with us. I am a survivor as well and, yes, losing your hair is an interesting experience to put it mildly. I am so ready for mine to be long again--yours is beautiful and give me hope that mine will eventually get there! Beautiful page!
