This is a very bad picture but so special to me...
Journaling (translated from French) : This photo is special in many ways. First of all because YOU took it. You knew exactly who your models would be : Titi and Titou the Teddy Bears, and Tizzie the cat in the background. You were so satisfied with the result. This photo is also special because it is the only picture we have of Titi, your favorite Teddy Bear, your best friend. He came with you at day care, he held your hand on the first day of school, he protected you from so many nightmares. We celebrated his birthday a hundred times, we comforted him after all the sorrows you invented for him, we healed all his imaginary pains... During almost five years, he was a full member of our family. But there was one too many travels. On March 2nd, Titi disappeared in the train. That day, my heart broke at the same time as yours, it was as if a piece of your childhood had vanished. When your sorrow will have soothed, I hope we could invent together Titi's adventure around the world, his new life without us. Until one day, who knows, we will receive a postcard from Neverland.

My daughter has a "friend" like this and I find myself always having to keep track of where it is. I love the emotion in your story- and how perfect that your son was the one to take the pic!
