Dear Danielle:
Mommy has a simple request for you. PLEASE start walking soon!! You are more than capable, and are motivated in every other aspect to be exactly like your big brother and sister, so I don’t understand why you just won’t do it! You walk just fine if you feel comfortable, like in a narrow hallway or hanging onto one finger of an adult’s hand. You have taken several steps on your own until you realize what you are doing and plop down on your knees again. We need to start seeing a little less of Exhibit A and a lot more of Exhibit B. When you start walking, we can do lots more fun things, I promise! We can go outside together, we can go shopping without ALWAYS needing to take a stroller… life will be so much more enjoyable for you. An added bonus will be Mommy saving her back when I don’t have to lug your 26lb. self around all the time. Oh, and you will stay much cleaner. As much as I would like you to stay my little baby, I think we both agree that you are growing up whether we like it or not, so we might as well get on with it. Come on, Danielle. I know you can do it!
